I'm Steve Schmidt, and I am thrilled today to be joined by one of the most exceptional members of the United States Congress from the 4th District of Massachusetts, the former Marine Corps combat veteran, Jake Auchin-Claw.

Steve, it's good to be back on. Thanks for having me.

There's a lot to talk about, I want to stay out of politics today.

It's all we ever talk about.

And talk about policy, talk about the future. John Kennedy

in a speech once made the point, his last major address at Amherst, he said, what is the point

of a great university if it doesn't have a great national purpose? What is the point of a political party

if it doesn't serve the national purpose? And the politics really is at some level the business of the pursuit of happiness in this in this country. That's what,

that's what it's supposed to be about. It's supposed to be about making people's lives better.

I want to talk about the future. I want to talk about what you think is one of the brightest thinkers in the Democratic

Party of where the fertile field is for the Democrats.

I want to talk about your visit across the border into New Hampshire to talk about housing.

I want to start out by talking about Robert Kennedy and Cali Means.

You had an internet dust up.

Cali Means, one of Robert Kennedy's top lieutenants,

ethically compromised, I think would be a generous term to describe the conflicts of interest

around him. But you pointed out in your Twitter back and forth with him that soon you will be in the majority.

And the Democrats will have the majorities in Congress and you will have the oversight gavel and
