brackets are set. But I do need to want to and think I should start the day talking about a 30 year colleague of mine Steve

Klauke.

To those that are new to the show, I am David Locke, the radio voice to Utah Jazz, and this is a daily

podcast on the Utah Jazz.

For those you are probably aware, Steve Klauke was the long time broadcaster in the state of Utah,

I think three or four time Utah State broadcaster of the year.

He and I first worked together in 1993 and it's even hard to say.

He got struck by a vehicle, I guess two nights ago now and passed away at 69 years old having

sadly just retired after 30 years just the radio voice of the Salt Lake Bees in a staple in our community and

experiencing his first summer of retirement. I didn't know what to do today. I'm heartbroken. Just... I didn't know what to do today because one at lockdown we always preach do the show for

the listener not for yourself it's hard for me to do the show without talking about this

so it's a little bit me doing it for myself but I do think if we talk about Steve for a minute, maybe we're all just a little bit better.

Maybe I needed to because we're on YouTube now explain why my eyes look like I've had the largest allergy attack ever
