0:27.5	That's awesome. I'm really glad to have you on the podcast. I have, I don't think that we've ever met in person, but I've followed your career.
0:37.4	Because I think we got started maybe around
0:39.4	the same time. When did you, when did you get started with your with your land captain business?
0:45.5	God, I'm going to say it must have been, oh, this is easily like 30 years ago that I had my
0:52.5	first cards printed.
0:54.3	Yeah.
0:57.6	I remember, you know, I used to write more magazines and stuff,
0:59.8	and I got to see a lot of things.
1:04.4	I still, and we have some stuff here in Fort Lauderdale that nobody did,
1:10.7	but we had the introduction of exotic fissure, which we could have lived without.
1:15.3	And also, we had one exotic that was deliberately stocked.
1:21.9	It was the Amor or Chinese grass carp, which was designed to eat the hydrilla, the aquatic weed out of some of these canals, you know, for water escapement, you know, in the time of a hurricane.
1:30.3	And it's a long story about how I first recognized these things, but basically, I was sitting under a
1:40.3	phycus tree out here in Davy, Florida swatting the fire ants off me. And all of a sudden,
1:45.0	the wind gust came, and all these 30-pound, 20-pound fish were boiling in front of me. And I
1:50.6	caught. And I looked for a second, and I saw the tree, Ficus tree. We have run right out in front
1:57.5	of the tennis club. These berries were falling.
