Hey, good morning, Mark.

How's everything?

Very good.

So what's going to happen with the outdoor dining

it looks like the tables remain but the sheds have to go well there's a lot of stuff they have to

sort through but um the uh i'm frankly amazed by by two different things number one i'm amazed

that bill de bloisio maybe the only good thing he ever did when he was mayor,

was to launch the outdoor dining program where restaurants could set up on the sidewalk

in the street, on the moon, wherever they wanted.

Because at that time, you couldn't eat indoors.

And it was great for the business.

It was great for the restaurants.

And it was great for morale.

But its time has passed. And, you know, they did their job, and it's over.

So the second thing I'm amazed about is that the city council, which held a hearing on this

two days ago, appears ready to get rid of it.
