And by the way,

we're going to be talking about a couple of books that he's put together, volumes one and two.

They're called the Divine Code and they speak about the numerical structure of scripture.

Now, we don't talk about scriptural numerics very often, although many Christians have written about

the subject over the last century, century and a half, or going back even farther than

that.

And I think it's a legitimate study.

What brought you to write a book about the numerical structure of the Bible?

I wasn't really starting out to write a book about numbers numerical structure of the Bible. I wasn't really starting out to write a book

about numbers, but as I studied many different topics, the numbers came out. So one of the first

numbers I probably saw was the fact that Jesus talked about the parable of the four soils,

or the parable of the sower, and it's clearly a numerical teaching. He says that when the seed, which is the word of God, is sown, it goes into four different soils. So that means that you've got 25% of each kind. And he says that only one produces 30, 60 to 100 full.

So then he divides the 25% by 3.

That makes 8.33%.

And then he says that only one group produces 100 fold.

So I always saw from the beginning numbers everywhere when Jesus taught.
