Well, we are excited to be joined by one of the Notre Dame greats with us today.

Sean, I'm doing great, and I appreciate you, including me and your show today.

Really enjoy getting a chance to come back to the South Bend area and talk a little bit of

Notre Dame and obviously other things that are important to me as well.

Well, and this is, there's a lot going on, obviously, around Notre Dame this weekend.

We've got the blue-gold game coming up here this Saturday.

And it's also legacy weekend at Notre Dame. And, you know, I think that's at least part of why you're in town, you know,

with your daughter being a student at Notre Dame that kind of makes it even more fun. But what's,

what exactly does legacy weekend entail at Notre Dame? Well, I've got a lot of reasons to be excited about being here this weekend.

You mentioned my daughter here.

She's a sophomore now, so I'm getting to experience Notre Dame as a parent, which is really

cool.

But Legacy Weekend has really, really been the evolution here in a very short period of time

under Marcus Freeman has been fantastic.

You know, as former players, we all, you know, over the years have talked about how, you know,

we'd love to have, you know, someone that can unify everybody and bring everybody together

on a regular basis in conjunction with, you know,

what's going on with Notre Dame football. And Marcus Freeman and his staff and the athletic

department in general have done a great job just creating this idea into an actual living

thing that just continues to evolve and develop and get better each and every year.

They allow any former Notre Dame football players to come back for the weekend and be a part of the festivities.
