Morning, everybody, welcome along to today's free podcast.

It's Thursday the 25th of June and the good news is it's payday.

And we like payday.

Of course, you might be going, wait a way doing, it's not payday for us, Steve.

Pay day for us on Friday because that's sort of the, technically the last Friday in the month you get paid.

But ours goes in on a date.

So at midnight,

I think it gets transferred in. It's ever so exciting. I don't know why should you be excited about it. I'm still sort of real for the fact that, you know, you do a program that you absolutely

love doing. And nice people like Graham from Cheney sends in loads of fruit and you think to

yourself, people are so nice. People are so nice.

And then they give you money at the end of the month. And you kind of feel a bit guilty taking it.

Well, I don't feel that guilty. But you sort of feel a little bit guilty. You think to yourself, you shouldn't really be allowed to actually earn money and have a nice lifestyle, all for sitting down

in a studio with a microphone and talking to people. But that's exactly what it is.

It's learning how to talk to yourself.

And most radio present, I was talking to some friends of mine

because I've got lots of friends who are on the music side of the business.
