One from Brentford and one from Chelsea's Rahim Sterling.

Let's begin with Sterling.

Left out the squad for the Man City game,

so he or his team decided to release a statement before kickoff.

I don't know about you, boys, but I wasn't overly impressed with it.

I didn't think it was particularly necessary.

I mean, we are in an age where player power and player influences at its most significant.

But when I saw the Sterling statement, my overriding reaction was not necessary.

You will clearly have an opportunity to speak to your peers, the people that you work for, because you don't

need to demand an audience. You're going to get one inevitably because if they want to get

rid of you, they're going to have that conversation anyway. And it looked to me from the outside
