Hello and welcome to True Crime Daily, the podcast covering high profile and under the

radar cases from across the country every week I'm your host Anna Garcia.

Our cases this week, a TV doctor who gave advice to millions of people over three decades

avoids jail time after pleading no contest to soliciting nude photos from a nine year

old girl, prosecutors say the doctor messaged the little girl with promises of being a

star in a movie and then asked the child for quote sexy pictures.

As part of the plea deal, the celebrity doctor, who by the way I worked with for 13 years,

will be on probation for two years and has to register as a sex offender.

Is that justice?

But first, it is a case that we have been following for a long time and we promise you we would

see this through to the end.

This is the case of the eight year old boy with autism who was so severely abused that

he froze to death in an unheeded garage that his father and stepmother forced him to

sleep in.

His father in New York City cop has already been convicted of murder and now the stepmother

who refused to let that little boy in the house to use the bathroom has had her day in

court and she's been found guilty of second degree murder.
