One of the figures I write about in my book is Stephen Meyer.

Great to be with you, Eric. As always. You're on the, you're in the northwest of this nation.

Are you not? Yeah, Seattle, Redmond, where Microsoft is. Oh, I've never heard of it. Never heard of it.

Yeah. So you and I have talked so much about this subject that I was thinking where we should start today.

And I guess I want to start here. In my – the first chapter – or it might even be in the introduction of my book, is atheism,

that I talk about a conference in 1985 when you, something happened to you at that time.

And I want my audience to be familiar with this. If they've read the book, they already know about this.

But tell us who you were at that time and what you saw at that conference,

because in a funny way, this is what kicks off your journey and to some extent kicks off

the journey in my book. So why don't we start there? Because that's just, it's kind of a,

it's fascinating to me. Yeah, it was a huge pivot point for me.

I was working as a geophysicist for a major oil company in Dallas.

And I was doing a work called digital signal processing of seismic data.
