In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk,

the deep in your understanding of God's Word, that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your

life. Well, here we are. Tomorrow is election day. People are holding their breath, wondering how

it's all going to shake out. Will it be a fair election? What will the repercussions be since this

nation is so deeply divided? Christians on both sides of the aisle question the substance of their counterpart's faith.

How can you call yourself a Christian and vote for X? And then there's respected Christian leaders

who've opted out of voting saying, you know what, I cannot in good conscience vote for either

candidate. How did we get here? And you know, this seems to be deeper and about something much

greater than two flawed candidates.

Has something shifted in the spiritual atmosphere? I actually think it has. I mean, are we under

God's judgment? I'm not saying we are, but something has definitely shifted. So what? What are we to do?

I mean, is the promise true that if we humble ourselves and seek God's face

and turn from our wicked ways that Jesus will hear us and heal our land? Of course, it's true.

Well, Stephen Mansfield joins me today. He's been on the show many times before, and I just told him

before the show, what in the world was I thinking? He should have been on five times already this

year. He should have been, but he always brings to me a sense of

clarity and groundedness to the conversation. We're going to draw a little bit from his book

that he wrote. It came out four years ago, but it's just as pertinent today. Ask the question,
