It's a Monday morning here day after Mother's Day,

after Mother's Day Pro Football Talk Live, rolling on the NFL schedule was released last

Thursday night, Chris Sims, because he doesn't work on Fridays, wasn't here to comment on it.

So we're going to get his thoughts at some point

today on various aspects of the schedule and just talk about whatever there is to talk about.

And Chris, even as the calendar reads May 11, even in the midst of a pandemic that has taken

away the offseason programs, there is still much to discuss. And that's what we're discussing

over the course of the next two hours.

Yes, that sounds good. Mike, I thought you were going to go down to one of your usual rants this time of the year and tell us it was a slow time, but there's still gifts of news being given. But how are you? You're doing good? You had a good Mother's Day? Your wife had a good Mother's Day. Everything went well? best that we could under the circumstances, you know, I'm actually very melancholy this morning because Jerry Stiller passed away.

The news of that was broken by his son, Ben, a couple hours ago.

Jerry Stiller had a lot of great roles in his career, but he always will be to me, Frank Costanza.

And that really has me down. I mean, he, you know, I mean, it's just weird to

have those kinds of feelings about somebody you never met. But to me, Frank Costanza is a timeless

character. Frank Costanza doesn't die. And the fact that Jerry Stiller is gone, it just kind of,

kind of hit me with an uppercut this morning. Well, that, I didn't even know.

So that hits me with an uppercut just as you're sitting here telling me this live on TV.

But, yeah, that's a shame because he's one of the great personalities.

And, you know, Mike, the second what you're saying.

And just so the people out there know, there's no show or cast of characters that Mike Florio quotes more on a daily

basis during our commercial breaks or whenever it is than Seinfeld. And so many times you passed

along great, great clips of him. And man, that's a shame. I had no idea. So I'm sorry to hear that.
