The case we are looking at this week is a little different than what I usually cover, but like a lot of cases I end up diving into, this one comes from me thinking about a topic and then looking for cases related to that topic. I try to approach each episode with the mindset of what we can take from the case, whether it's understanding a

legal issue or a social one. And when we talk about social issues, I know I'm bringing awareness,

but it's not really changing anything. So I was thinking about what if we had a system,

where cases were looked at from the point of view of what can we learn from them, but not by a

podcaster sitting in her basement. What if it was an official role to evaluate the case and then

make recommendations for change? We don't exactly have a system like that here in the U.S.
