Man, oh man, am I excited to bring you my conversation today with one of the greatest athletes

on the planet and one of the greatest basketball players to ever live.

He is the four-time world champion, two-time NBA MVP, and really at this point the undisputed

greatest shooter in the history of the game, Stephen Curry.

Steph is out with a new documentary, a really fascinating look at his own life.

It's called Stephen Curry underrated.

It's on Apple TV Plus and tells the story of his being perpetually well underrated.

Since he was a skinny little kid growing up in Charlotte, trying to live out his basketball

dream, but he was always too small, he was too thin, he was very skilled, his dad played

in the NBA del Curry, a great shooter in his own right, his brother Seth Curry, by the

way, played at Duke and now plays in the NBA as well.

Steph perpetually trying to prove himself since he was a tiny little kid and eventually

getting to do that at the college level at Davidson, which is just outside of Charlotte,

but that wasn't where he wanted to play.

He wanted growing up around Charlotte, wanted to play at Carolina or Duke or Wake Forest

or one of those big ACC schools, even his dad and his mother's alma mater Virginia

tech didn't offer him a scholarship.

So he went to Davidson and the basketball fans will remember in the 2008 NCAA tournament

led them to a magical run almost to the final four.

They lost by two points in the elite eight, but he became a national star during that incredible
