I would say so.

I would say when we started this show, this was one that was on the bucket list, as our first or second cast.

I think the term is called White Whales. Is that right? White Whales, like something you're chasing, something you dream about.

And I've got a list of three people that are like my bucket list.

And I have been since I started podcasting seven years ago, Steph has been on that the whole time.

Happy to have sat down with him a night in between games here in Houston, Texas.

I called the Warriors game last night, took the red eye after the game, got to Houston.

You flew in last night. Jason came in from Oklahoma. We're here. We're getting this done.

It's going to be awesome. So you called the game last night, you mentioned. What do you think?

I was really happy because Clay had a good game and so much has been made about his struggles

going into last night, but he was solid, shot around 50% from the field, got off to a great start.

It was interesting. Early in that game, Steph, I think, made a point to look for Clay to get everyone

involved in the offense. We had the audio from Steve Kerr during different time outs and

Kerr kept stressing one more pass, one more pass, one more pass. And if you look at their like a

cis percentage last night, it was amazing. Steph, of course, ended up with tennisists.

This is in a game coming off of 50 ball where maybe he comes out on a Friday ESPN game and tries

to go ballistic, but he recognizes how important Clay playing well is to that team.
