directs Discovery Institute's Center for Science

and Culture. He's the author of several books and is a proponent of the science behind intelligent

design. Dr. Meyer, thanks so much for joining me on Takeaways. Thank you for having me. Delighted to

kid in a candy shop because intelligent design, apologetics, science has always been such a topic of

fascination to me. And I've loved watching your debates. I was there when you were debating

someone named Michael Shermer. I believe he was the editor for Skeptic Magazine. And boy,

you just shined like the noonday sun in that debate.

Well, thank you. I want us to talk today about this new book that is called The Return of the God Hypothesis.

It's actually not brand new.

It's been out for a couple of years, but it's new to the scientific community to be really
