Morning, everybody, welcome along to your free podcast for today, being Friday, the 17th of July, and actually not being a bad start to the day.

I say bad start. I forgot to bring you the weather earlier on, and the reason I forgot to bring you the weather is because I wasn't really sure what it was going to be like over this weekend. Cloud breaking with sunny spells, brisk southwesterly wind. The wind will drop overnight, long clear spells. It may remain cloudy around the South Coast, but it will be dry. Tomorrow. Clear start for most. Cloud increasing. Sunny spells, winds remaining light. No rain is forecast. If you think of having a barbecue, I think I could safely put hand on heart and say, go on, go for a barbecue. It might actually work. So the story that I was

a bit confused about this morning was this actress called Stephanie Davis. I've got no idea who she is,

not a clue. I've seen a picture of her. I'm none the wiser because I don't watch Holyoke,

so that wouldn't make any difference, would it? She's been part of it since she was 16, she's 22 now, so she's been there for ages. She obviously made no impact.

Strangely enough, four months ago, she signs a new year contract, and then all of a sudden it's terminated with immediate effect. Now, I don't, I mean, I can't quite work out in my

own mind just how bad you'd have to be to have a contract terminated with immediate effect. It was for a year and Hollyoaks have already, normally they say we don't have any comment at the moment. This one, they have confirmed Stephanie Davis will no longer be filming Holyoaks. Her contract has been terminated with immediate effect. I mean, what in God's name can that mean? She's only four months into it. She's been there

since she was 16. And we don't know. They've tried to find out by contacting her people. And we're

none the wiser. We don't know. I mean, she's done something wrong. Is she going somewhere else?

Has she been, I don't know. I can't imagine what would warrant being dropped by Holyoaks with immediate effect,

not even, you know, working out her notice or she's leaving in, you know, in January next year or something.

None of that at all. Interesting, isn't it? I thought it was fascinating. I like things like that

because I just don't understand what's got. Because I want to know. I'm really, really curious, really curious.

The other story, which fascinated me this morning, was Zane Malick. Zane Malick dropped by Simon Cowell's

music label before he launches a solo career. Now, I think that's been done by, you know, pressure

from, or perhaps not pressure, but certainly the other boys go, wait a minute, he walked out on us.

He walked out on us. Why, you know, why would you be launching a solo career?

I'm sorry, you're part of One Direction. Nobody'd heard of you before One Direction. You seriously don't think that.

So Simon Cowell dropped him. He had the first option to release the album, but he wants to maintain his loyalty, and he can do that,

and I think he's probably made the right decision. Otherwise, Zane Malik is going to overshadow

one direction, and that could never be allowed to happen. Although a psycho spokesman has told
