Hello, everyone and welcome to police off the cuff, real crime stories.

I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD. You know, guys, I sort of announced

yesterday. I made a short little video, but yesterday, October 31st, 2011, I retired from the

NYPD after nearly 27 years. I say 27. It actually was 26 years, nine and a half months, but I rounded off. But yesterday, I have been, was out, retired 13 years ago. And, you know, everyone always says there's life after the police department. And I did a lot of different things, you know, tried different things. I taught college for five and a half years.

Then I went into, I tried a little acting.

I did stand-up comedy for seven years, which landed me into this podcast, Police

Off the Cuff, which takes a great deal of my time right now.

And I want to thank all of you guys for finding me and being loyal and supportive fans,

subscribers, friends of police off the cuff real crime stories. So, you know, yesterday we went on

myself and Mike Geary, who I love Mike Geary. He's an unbelievable professor, retired in YPD

sergeant. He does a great professor, retired NYPD sergeant.

He does a great job.

But he's sometimes, you know, he teaches full-time.

He's a busy guy.

So I decided to come on solo today.

There was a few things yesterday that we actually was the day before that we that we perhaps missed and one of those

was what was mentioned they talked about these decision making coins and I'm going to go into

it a little bit more but this was found in a text message that was submitted, believed to be, from Maddie to Stefan.

And we'll get into that a little bit more later because many of the things that we hear about in this case,

it seems like it can be, some of it is conjecture that we can't totally prove.

And I don't like to put anything out there unless it's usually from the police source,

but they've been very slow and very careful and releasing many things,
