A September 12th edition of Light Years, we are less than three weeks away from Warriors Camp Opening.

But before we talk about that, Step Curry.

I love when Steph has reached like sage veteran status where like it's almost like a state of the union.

He's like, okay, I'm back from doing my summer stuff and I'm going to do a little

media circuit here. And because he's Steph Curry, his media circuit's bigger. What do you on? Good

Morning America or some stuff like that. Crazy. Some big time stuff here. And it does feel like,

you know, feels like when you know, you go back to school and you haven't seen people that much. That's kind of how it feels with him. So now he's back. He's talking. We haven't heard him say anything all offseason, you know? Yeah. That's fun to see. Set a bunch of things. He said a bunch of things. A lot of optimism. That stuff is just such an optimistic guy.

He's endlessly optimistic. No matter what the circumstances, he always believes he can get it done.

It's his greatest strength and sometimes his biggest weakness. Yeah, yeah. I mean, he doesn't complain.

That's great. I do like that. You're talking about, you know, not taking this season for granted,

being able to extend your prime, going into your 17, really have this belief that I could be the top of my game again and win at the highest level.

So I'm trying to squeeze the most out of it until it's over.

You know, we've heard kind of stuff like this.

It's easy when we're talking about the Cumminga stuff to forget that they ended the season 23 and 7. Yeah. And there's a lot of belief that, you know, I do, let me put it. it. Let me rephrase it to you this way. I do believe Steph and Jimmy can lead a title team in 26. Do you? Oh, absolutely. I mean, like you said, it's the offseason bogged down by all the comminga stuff, and it's, you know, I'm sure we'll get to it at some point, but it's, it's just been annoying and frustrating. But at the end of the day, I do think it has distracted from the fact that they had this incredible run to end the season, and Steph you know i mean i'm not going to say he

looked like he was 2016 step but he looked every bit as damn good as he did in like 2023 like

i think he's still going to be a little bit more inconsistent than like you know his absolute peak

but i mean his numbers the last 30 games of the season were, like, absurd.

He was like 28, 6 and 5 on like 47, 42, 90.
