Charges finally filed in the cruise ship death of a Florida teen.

Documents unrelated to the case show that Anna Kepner's stepbrother has been charged with homicide.

It was in November that Kepner was found dead in her cabin on a carnival cruise ship,

hidden under the bed, wrapped in a blanket, and covered

in life jackets. Since then, the case has been shrouded in mystery, with most updates about

the case coming out of a family dispute between Kepner's mother and father over custody.

In fact, it was in an emergency divorce court petition that the criminal action was revealed,

citing a social media post from the Kepner family saying that the stepbrother was charged February 3rd by the U.S. attorney in the Southern District of Florida.

The teenager was photographed at Miami Federal Court just three days later.
