Summary

Last week, my wife Beth + I witnessed a microcosm of what happens every day in this country and around the world.

People, living their lives the very best they can. Struggling. Dreaming. Striving. Hoping to provide for families, and run errands, and live their lives....

But when there is a need, when an individual is in pain, when someone regardless of their differences is in need of help, people step up.

Turns out, during times of adversity our own arrogance and selfishness and political leanings fade as we realize we are all in the same family.

And we do care.

My friends, this too shall pass, we’re truly in this together and the best is yet to come. The struggles of the world won’t fade, but you’ll be inspired and empowered to joyfully move forward, together.

0:14.4	I record these so that you may begin your week in awe and on fire with a burst of inspiration and during these days brothers and sisters
0:24.1	don't we need it we have friends who tune in from all 50 states and i believe at last count
0:30.6	81 different countries but clearly here in the united states there was a very difficult
0:36.6	election held last tuesday and some uncertainty in many of our lives even still.
0:42.4	And a lot of folks right now are feeling like there's just no reason for hope.
0:46.8	There's just like 2020, man.
0:49.1	It just keeps going and going.
0:51.1	Will it ever end?
0:52.9	Is there reason to give up the despair that I'm holding fast too, John?
0:57.1	And I say yes, I say yes.
0:58.9	I had an experience Thursday with my wife that's going to remind you that I think it's a lot better than it seems.
1:04.8	Okay?
1:05.5	So it's Beth and I were driving and then eventually pulling into a parking lot.
1:10.2	An older lady, right down where we were pulling in, we saw her fall over.
1:15.5	She was going to be okay here in a moment, so hang on for it as she's crossing the street.
1:19.8	Before I could even pull the car over to help, though.
1:22.8	Another guy ran, and I mean like halt.
1:25.6	He sprinted to go help her.
1:31.2	Here it is, my friends. in the middle of a pandemic he had to get close to her he had to comfort her he had to put his arm around her he could
1:38.7	have contracted the virus but he didn't care he didn care. That's not the motivation right then and there.
1:45.9	He just didn't care. As Beth and I got out of our car and she jogged to go see the lady,
