Hey friends, welcome to the How to Sell online podcast episode. All right, before we dig in, I have to announce something I'm pretty proud of. I got first place in a 5K this last weekend with my family. Now, for those of you that are like, oh that's so cool,

thanks so much for celebrating with me and for those of you that are like, oh she's bragging. Well, can I just

tell you the rest of the story?

Because there's more than that.

So my family took a picture of me standing on the podium,

getting my first place medal,

but if you see the picture, you'll notice there's nobody to the right or to the left of me because I was the only one in my age division that ran and so naturally I got first place and as I was standing there proud as couldn't be

I just took a moment to accept that award and as I started thinking about it

I was like you know what Do you know what this is really all about?

Is just keep going and not stopping and just keep trying and eventually you're going to out age everybody or people are just not going to show up and you'll eventually win first place right and I think this has a lot to do with business too.
