64 year old retired Commodore Jeffrey Marr clicks on his flashlight and sweeps his beam down the hallway.

Jeffrey was the Queen Elizabeth's last captain when she was with Kunard.

Now he's returned to his old ship to give advice to the Queen Elizabeth's new owner,

but the ship looks nothing like Jeffrey remembers it.

The once sparkling interiors are dark and dingy.

There's an emergency generator on board providing power, but there's not enough for the lights.

So with only his flashlight to guide him, Jeffrey makes his way down the hall and up a flight of stairs to the ship's writing room.

Waiting for Jeffrey there is the ship's new owner, Chinese shipping magnet,

Seyteung.

Commodore, wonderful to see you again.

Jeffrey takes a seat and looks around.

Here at least, he's pleased to see the leather-lined seats in the

alcoves remain just as they were during the ship's glory days. The ship has

changed hands a few times since she left Kunard's service two years ago.
