As the Steelers head into their by week, their defense that wants to be an elite unit hasn't been, but it can be if they've improved these specific points.

I'm going to go over those and give you our week five picks here.

We talked a little about the offense yesterday, but I've said, I think this defense can rise to

a league. We talked about that with Alan Saunders on the Tuesday episode, I was still back in

Dublin Ireland. But there was an interesting response that I got earlier that we got, because Alan actually asked this question, from Tara Lawston about the balance of where the defense should be and how they're performing.

Because right now, the Steelers as a defense do have the second most turnovers.

But when it comes to overall yards allowed,

they're 28th in the NFL. And that's not where you want to be. But at the same time,

yards aren't always, pure yards allowed aren't always the primary determining point of how good

of a defense you are.

To me, it's always points.

If you're in the top ten in points, you're doing your job as far as limiting.

You want to get this.

If the Steelers end up being in the top five and points allowed and like in the teams

and yards allowed, that's not that big, big of a deal.

You know, in fact, the top five points, in my opinion, makes you in that, put you in that question

of, are you an elite defense legitimately?
