Chris Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast. The Pittsburgh Steelers won another close game, this time 19-16 over the Atlanta Falcons. But in doing so, they showed consistency in the type of team they need to be with their current roster. Rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett was efficient and had his fourth consecutive game without a turnover while he threw his 4th touchdown pass of the season. Najee Harris led a strong ground game that gained over 100 yards for the 5th straight game. And the defense stood tall most of the game, with a strong finish of a Minkah Fitzpatrick interception. At 5-7, Mike Tomlin has his Steelers finding their identity. But there's still plenty to clean up with Diontae Johnson's drops, the run defense that caved at an inopportune time, and the red zone offense that can't seem to finish drives, along with T.J. Watt obviously playing not at full strength. Still, the Steelers have now won 3 of their last 4 games and are getting better each week.
