as Alan and I discussed, it was going to be tough to link up to throughout training camp. We were both out there all the time, but training camp is a grind. They've got very limited time to get stuff done when you get out of the sun. It's always great to have Alan back on. Good to be back, man. Really good to be back. and I missed it. I'm excited to be back here on the show.

Absolutely. So we're going to get to Gabe Davis in a bit. I think he can be an interesting addition to the Steelers. As of right now, we're recording this at almost 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time Monday night because Omar Khan will wait until I finish this episode and then he'll

make the move. That's just what he does. But we'll get to Gabe Davis in a bit. But I wanted

to talk about the run game because that was a question that I left off at the end of my last

episode because of all the things that we've seen, what the physicality from the Steelers'

trenches, we've seen the defensive line look stronger this year with the young guys being in there showing the ability to take on double teams and be nasty and be physical. We've seen the offensive line pick up blitz is better and look like they're doing a little bit better in path protection. We'll get more into that later. But the one thing I hadn't really seen the Steelers even really try a lot was running the

football and running the football enough to see, okay, what does work here, what doesn't work there.

And it let me a little perplexed as far as, hey, like I thought, okay, first preseason game,

I get it. You're just coming out the gates. But in the second preseason game, I was like,
