All right, Steelers fans, I was going to lead off about Alex Highsmith and how he's confident that T.J. Watts

going to sign an extension and dive into that talk. But oh, no, the national media had other plans.

Because here come Adam Schaefter and Field Yates and who else, Jordan Schultz, saying, oh, man, the Steelers, they're having a lot of conversations about trading

for players.

And Jordan Schultz kind of tweet tweeting about how the Steelers have had, quote, preliminary

conversations with multiple teams about potentially adding another playmaker on off of it to compliment D.K. Metcalfe per multiple sources.

Pittsburgh is believed to be motivated to get a deal done at some point, though there's still plenty of time before the season that the Steelers could have up to 12 picks in the 2026 NFL draft.

So here's the thing.

If the Steelers are committed to this plan of using these draft picks to move up and get the franchise quarterback that they really want,
