Chris Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast. The Pittsburgh Steelers' 16-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens highlights several problems. At the top of that list are the offensive and defensive lines, as the Ravens pushed the Steelers around all game. Cam Heyward spoke after the game, and his words make it obvious the Steelers have too many weaknesses in their defensive front as the Ravens ran over them all game. In addition to that, the Steelers' offensive line wasn't strong enough to get the run game going, nor did it protect Kenny Pickett from the Ravens' pass rush. That lack of protection led to Pickett's injury that put him in concussion protocol. Mitch Trubisky came in and threw three interceptions that crushed the Steelers' plans. It shows that if the Steelers hope to be competitive next year, they need linemen on both sides that can take over games.
