Jamie arrived at the Roman bath in the waning hours of the night.

Most visitors had already left for the evening after their afterwork soak.

She enjoyed the winding down atmosphere of the large, dim corridors as steam drifted through the quiet.

Besides, the last two hours were reserved for the co-ed baths.

She didn't mind getting a glimpse of material she could play through her mind later in the night when she was alone under her covers.

She made her way back to the room towards the shower. As she found a

locker to store her belongings, she noticed a familiar face getting into the

shower. Her gym friend, Ray. She and Ray developed a flirty relationship whenever

they saw each other at the gym several times per week, but neither had the courage to say anything

to each other in public with so many people around. She chuckled to herself as she noticed

Ray timidly looking around and get into the showers with his boxers still on. Clearly, Ray had not

been to the baths during the co-ed hours and was not sure of the expected etiquette.

I'd better go rescue him, she thought to herself, and before changing from her clothes into the

bathrobe supplied by the bath, she approached the shower. Hey, Ray. Oh, hey, Jamie. Ray responded

quickly with a smile, and then just as quickly remembered to be embarrassed and grinned sheepishly.

You know, she surmised out loud.

Most people remove their clothes before getting into a shower.

She gave them a coy look.

But I guess you were used to showering in a more unique way?

Oh yeah, he said back. I guess I didn't realize I came

during the co-ed time, didn't want to be presumptuous with the shower. Jamie answered with a

giggle, I think you'll find you're the oddball out here wearing shorts in a shower. Oh, he replied, and after a moment of hesitation, he looked at her
