and kind of brushed over, glossed over the part about dressing for winter

fishing, figuring that it was common knowledge to most people out there.

But since then we've gotten some requests from listeners on dressing for winter fishing.

So let's have a little podcast about just how to dress and keep warm for winter fishing,

whether it's trout fishing or steelhead fishing throughout the winter

and basically the colder months of the year. throughout the I haven't found anything better than the synthetic types of under layers that are sold for

skiing and fly fishing and so on.

We sell one called Thermocline, which is a very light soft synthetic material that has

a antimicrobial on it.

Most of them do. And the advantage of this layer is it traps

air against your skin, which of course helps keep you warm, and it also wicks

moisture away from your skin.

So there are times when you're going to be developing some moisture,

some perspiration, and you want to get rid of that.
