Good morning church, happy Sunday. We're so glad that you're here joining us for church today. My name is Chelsea. If we haven't met, I get to be married to who I think is the best man on the planet, Judah. And together we have the greatest job in the whole wide world we think,

getting to lead and pastor this church. It always means so much that you take time to

join us for church. And so first of all we just want to say thank you for being here and if this is your first time or this is newer this is a newer

experience for you first of all welcome we're so glad that you're here and I know that this has been a very unique

week again.

Unfortunately, they're not being so unique in our nation's history and we want to let you know

whatever you're facing, whatever you're going through, we are here for you.

We are not just a content delivery system or platform. We really are a community and we want to let you know that we have a team at pasture chat right now standing by to pray with you, help you in any way that we can, and really know that we are standing together in this time.

Nobody has to face what we're feeling alone.

So just wanted to let you know about that.

Also for the service, I'm so excited, I get to be speaking this morning, which I'm really really excited about what I'm going to share with you, but afterwards just let you know we are going to have a time of music and worship and reflection and that's going to be the service today.

So should we get started? Okay, here is what we are going to talk about this morning.

We are going to talk about pain, right? Is there anything else that we would talk about when we're facing what we're facing?

But we're going to really just answer two simple questions and the first is can I be in the will of God and facing this much pain?

And then the second question is, boy, I'm feeling a lot of pain.

What do I do when I feel like I want to escape the pain?

So that's what we're going to talk about this morning.

But first let's pray together.

Jesus, we thank you so much for this church, for this community, for every person who is watching.

Lord, I know you know every name. You know what is happening in the hearts and minds of every individual.

And Lord, I pray for us as a church home community.

Lord, open up our hearts.
