Proverbs chapter 4.

In praying and seeking the Lord about this evening, I believe I've been definitely impressed along this line.

And I want you to believe what we just prayed because I've got a number of notes here, but this is a very, very big subject.

And I just want to trust the

Lord to lead us the right way at the right time.

So the utterance is not just all up to the preacher.

It's greatly affected by the hearer.

You remember the Apostle Paul said on more than one occasion, he said, I would have gone

into this and that, but you couldn't

hear it, he said. So apparently he didn't get into it. And I just in my small experience, I've

been to places before where I had something on my heart. I felt like we needed to get out while

we were there and I was there a whole week and never got it out. If you knew what it was, why didn't you just tell it?

Because the scripture says don't cast your pearl before swine.

Don't give that which is holy to the dogs.

Now that's not calling people names.

What does that mean?

Pigs do not appreciate pearls.

You give them a pearl. They don't know the difference between that and a gravel rock.

Right?

So you're foolish if you give the pearls to the pigs and come away crying and say, well, I just stomped them in the mud and they don't even appreciate them.

How much they cost?

Well, you're dumb for giving them to them.
