Good morning. I'm Rob Stats Guerrera. Today is Thursday, September 3rd, 2020. Here's what's happening

with your San Francisco 49ers. Injuries have been the dominant story of this preseason for the

Niners, but with seven days to go before the start of the regular season, they actually got some

good news on that front for a change. Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters yesterday that he'd be, quote, very surprised

if pass rushers D. Ford and Nick Bosa weren't ready to go for week one against the Cardinals.

In addition, tight end George Kittle returned to practice inside Levi's Stadium after missing a few

days with a tight hamstring. He also appears in line to play in week one.

At wide receiver, things also looked like they were improving in the cases of Debo, Samuel,

and Brandon Ayuk. Shanahan didn't offer specifics on either player, but did say he hopes to get

both guys back next week. Ayuk was the story of training camp before he got hurt, and Jimmy Garapolo was asked
