with your San Francisco 49ers. The news was mostly quiet when it came to the Niners themselves

yesterday, but I did see a couple of stories that were 49ers adjacent that I thought you might be

interested in. First, it looks like the Rams have found the man they want to replace Brandon Staley as their

defensive coordinator. According to NFL media, that man would be former Buccaneers head coach

and current Falcons defensive coordinator Rahim Morris. Morris had been someone that

Aron Akash Anaverothan and Kyle Posey mentioned as a potential replacement for Robert Sala in

San Francisco. It's not a done deal with the Rams yet, though, because Morris has also been mentioned

as a candidate for the Jaguars defensive coordinator opening.

Speaking of the Jacksonville Jaguars, NFL media also reports that the Jaggs are going to

promote director of player personnel Trent Balke to general manager.

Of course, you all know Trent Balke, no stranger to 49ers fans.
