with your San Francisco 49ers. Well, the news we've all been waiting for finally became

official around 10.30 p.m. Eastern time yesterday. Robert Sala is leaving the San Francisco

49ers to become the head coach of the New York Jets. The Jets themselves tweeted out the news

last night, and Adam

Schefter v.SPN reported that Sala is going to take passing game coordinator Mike LaFleur

with him to be his offensive coordinator in New York. Shefter added that Sala and the Jets have

agreed to a five-year contract. In a text to the Monday morning quarterback's Albert Breer GM,

John Lynch said, quote,

Roberts earned this opportunity. He's a very smart, tremendously gifted leader and ready for this
