So another day, another assassination trip on,

assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

Later in the show, by the way, about half an hour, I should have Medea Benjamin

showing up, the co-founder and kind of face, I would say, of Code Pink.

Anytime you've seen a video of a woman standing up in Congress or showing up and harassing

members of APEC in the most beautiful way, 80% of the time in St. Medea Benjamin. But she's also,

she's not just great on APEC. She is very informed on Cuba, on Iran, on Gaza, on all those things.

So we'll be talking to her about all of those things coming up in about half an hour.

Before we get to that and before we get to the way states are seemingly successfully fighting against ICE, and before we get to the way states are seemingly successfully fighting against ice,

and before we get to the historical precedent showing that Trump's form of fascism may not

have very long to last. If you look at the historical precedent, if you look at history,

Trump's style, his lovely style of fascism

doesn't tend to last long. We'll get into that a little bit coming up. But before we get to that,

let's talk for a moment. I couldn't, I couldn't just fully ignore it, though I would like to.

About the assassination attempt, or whatever you want to call it,

at the White House Press Corps dinner thing. I have not been to the Press Corps dinner event,

but I have been to the competing event that was basically across the street from it one year.

I think it was put on by the young Turks.

And I wasn't, it's not that I was part of the young Turks.

I was just one of the people invited.
