Hope things are well with you wherever you are. I know it's hot out there.

I do. It's hot and there's no relief in sight.

I've said many times before, if anything ever drives me out of Mississippi, it'll be these Mississippi summers, but that's why we have air conditioning.

But nevertheless, I hope that you are doing well. I hope you had a great weekend.

A lot of things talk about on the show today.

Before we get too deep into the show, I want to make you guys aware of something.

Former Mississippi State closer, Caleb Reed is in bad shape.

Many of you have kind of kept up with this.

Many of you have participated in the GoFundMe efforts, and I'm told that Caleb has taken

a turn for the worst.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with Caleb and his exploits he is a native of Greenville

Mississippi I believe that's correct yeah Cleveland Mississippi pardon me Cleveland

a product of Bayou Academy was here from 2009 and 2012.

In 2011, Caleb Reed had a 1 and 2 record,

but an ERA of 1.55, 12 saves,

struck out 66, walked just 23, and basically he just had

multiple variations of the slider. Just wasn't much you could do with it

and occasionally he would sneak that fastball bag you just to kind of keep you honest but you finished up in

2012 it's kind of part of the deal you know know. And I will be honest with you.

And if I can't be honest with you guys, I can't be honest with anybody.

One of the firm beliefs that I have in life is that God makes no mistakes.
