Welcome to the Bornyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here in the early morning hours of Monday.

Like many of you, I've wanted to go to sleep since about 6.50 p.m. But I found a late second wind. I watched our game again.

Of course, I was there on Press Row. I had a chance to kind of

watch a game. My DVR malfunctioned on me, which I've got to figure that out over the weekend.

So I watched the replay. Had a chance to take a few notes. We're going to talk about a few things.

And here's the first thing that I'm going to tell you there are no ugly wins and right now people like stevie wrung no there are no ugly wins

especially in the southeastern conference we did not play well though there were times we played

really well and there were times we didn't. We're going to get

into both. You're going to kind of tell it how it is. Good, bad, or indifferent. This is not going to be

a funeral or a pity party. I'm not going to sit here and spin it and tell you everything is okay,

because neither of those things are correct. One of the things I'll share with you too is there is a vocal minority out there that

no matter what happens at Mississippi State, it's not good enough, regardless of how

things go.

I'm going to encourage you to not listen to those people.

There are some other people out there that will tell you that everything is peachy and

perfect no matter what happens at Mississippi State.

Even when we do something wrong, they're going to sit here and tell you.

Everything's great.

Don't listen to those of people either.

It's much like everything else in life, the people at polar extremes are not the people to listen to.

They are the least objective. I try to be the voice of reason.

I'm not always successful in that quest, but the reality of it is Mississippi State wins the game.
