As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Victory Monday edition of the Boneyard.

Yeah, how about that?

Man, it feels so good to win.

I don't know that we felt this way in a long time.

I thought about that yesterday morning.

Get up, take the dogs out, a little chill in the air,

got the sun on my back, and it kind of hit me.

I don't remember the last time that I felt this good after a football game.

Win or lose.

Maybe the 2022 egg ball, maybe.

It's been a while since we have felt this way.

And it's not just because of what happened.

It's because of what we now believe may be possible, right?

We expected to show some improvement this year.

I have said throughout the summer that I felt like the most important game on the schedule was Arizona State.

And now we've won that game.

And so why was that game so important?

I think because we needed proof positive that we were actually making progress,

that now we could expect to go compete and do some interesting things in the SEC.

Arizona State has some SEC level talent, and Mississippi State stood up, won the game, should have

won it worse, but the reality of it is we won. The city was absolutely restless and ready
