I think the only way that I could have gotten through that is with all of us here together

reminding me that I'm not uniquely insane and that, yeah, actually all of this stuff

is objectively untrue but I know I said it in the comments in the chat but I think

it bears repeating and I could be proven wrong about this but I really do think that it

would be an interesting exercise to revisit one of his past state of the union addresses

when the Democrats had the ability to actually do some of these things and compare his rhetoric

then with his rhetoric now when none of this is going to get done because it's not going

to pass the Senate and I would just strongly suspect that back when it could have been

done, he probably wouldn't be reading a speech that literally sounds like the clips

notes from one of Bernie's speeches to a large degree.

Right.
