Okay, welcome to this American president. We have a special episode today. It's kind of a

retrospective of where we've been and also to just talk about where we're going in the future.

And don't worry, we're still going to have our normal episodes. But we just thought that

this might be a good time. It's a new year. It's a new decade. This American president's second

decade. And it's also our fourth year that we've been around. We just thought we'd look back a little

bit on the road traveled and also look forward to what's in store for the new year.

And we have somebody who has continually been a quiet presence on the podcast.

He's literally been here, but he's never actually been on a podcast before.

He is the producer of this American president.

His name is Michael Neal.

So I just, first of all, like to say that I love referring to Michael as my producer. It's been this joke we've

had forever. Like whenever we talk about the podcast, I'll just be like, oh yeah, Michael, my

producer. I'll, I don't even say Michael. I just say my producer. And then one time my wife,

Tammy, she was like, what, you mean Michael, right? Like, we know Michael. We're friends.

So my favorite moment of this was I had, we have a mutual friend at our church. Richard and I met at church.

And we have a mutual friend whose mother was in town. And after church, everyone's talking's talking and she comes up to me and she says,

oh, hey, Michael, I want you to me my mom. So I go to her mom and she says, mom, this is Richard's

producer. And I just laugh because, hey, I thought, I thought we were friends. Right. Right. Yes. Yeah. Anyways, this is,
