Summary

There's bad losses. And then there is ... whatever the hell happened to Ohio State's basketball team last night. The Buckeyes -- who were 15-point favorites and had a win probability of 95.5 percent -- were beaten by Big Ten cellar dweller Nebraska 78-70 at the Schott. And that came on the heels of OSU's upset loss at Maryland on Sunday when the Terrapins dominated to the tune of 75-60.

We can all be prisoners of the moment at times and overreact, especially when it involves our sports teams. However, this is year No. 5 of the Chris Holtmann era at Ohio State. The Buckeyes are 18-9 overall and 11-7 in Big Ten play, and they are a lock to make the NCAA Tournament. But should the program be further ahead at this point?
