It what is almost becoming a weekly occurrence, UNC head football coach Mack Brown has added yet another four-star recruit to Carolina’s 2020 recruiting class. This week the Heels secured a verbal commitment from wide receiver Josh Downs from Georgia. Downs, who many believed to be a lock for rival NC State due to his father playing football there, was won over by UNC’s new coaching staff. The recruiting pitch was spearheaded by Dre Bly, Downs’ uncle, who is rapidly making a name for himself on the recruiting trail. 1:11.7	Well, down to the four-star guys, you mentioned,
1:13.7	wide receiver out of North Gwinnett High School in Georgia,
1:17.2	which for those who follow recruiting know that Gwinnett County,
1:19.7	I mean, that whole general greater Atlanta area is just absolutely stacked with town.
1:25.1	It's probably one of the most, if not the most stacked area in the
1:28.4	entire country, but Gwynette County in particular is just loaded. So to get a four-star kid out of
1:34.4	that county is huge. But he's a slot receiver. You have 510, 165. And I mean, he's kind of your
1:41.2	traditional slot receiver where you have him run a short route or maybe some sort of scream, give him the ball, and just kind of watch him go.
1:48.6	I mean, he's very, very elusive. He's very dangerous and open space.
1:52.1	He's a type that if you give him even a little bit of space, he's a threat to score.
