We open the day show with some good news. Many of you have been very concerned over the last several months about the cowboy that sits behind home plate at Duty Noble Field.

His name is Ronnie Braswell.

Had a chance to go visit with Ronnie some time ago.

But, you know, Ronnie has become a big part of our family, as you guys are well aware.

Those of you that watch from home, you're very familiar with his antics behind home plate

and how he kind of rides the umpires on our behalf.

I'm happy to say that Ronnie's going home for Christmas.

Ronnie has been dealing with some medical issues throughout the year.

Spent a lot of time in a hospital, was in kind of a step-down rehab facility for some time then had a little bit of a setback

Got that resolved and Ronnie heading home today

So your prayers are still coveted as the cowboy makes a full recovery,

and we hope to see him out at Duty Noble Field

to help usher in the opening of the Brown-O-Connor era

Valentine's Day weekend, man.

Less than two months away, yeah.

So I wanted to open with that because I think that's important.

We are a family.

You know, coaches and players at times come and go.

We have some tourists in our lives.

That's the reality of things.

But you and I, we remain.
