Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson, as always.

I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Maroon Friday edition of the yard. We made a kid. It seems like this week took a little longer to get through. Like last week, you know, you beat Eastern Kentucky and you can't wait to play again. This week, maybe it's just me, but it seems like it's been a longer week. It has been. We've had to grind a little bit, too, to find some content, too, with Toledo not really making a lot of media opportunities available. As a matter of fact, the Jason Candle Monday Presser went like four out, four minutes and 25 seconds. And only one person asked questions i suspect it was

somebody from media relations i don't know but uh not a lot to chew from uh we're going to talk

a little bit about the game later in the show we're going to pick uh you know the weekend got some

cool things to talk about baseball schedules out uh want to thank you guys too i had a lot of

response a lot of response.

A lot of people hit me up about the 9-11 tribute

on the Wednesday show.

I think it's a cool thing.

I think there are a lot of people that feel like you and I do.

You know what they way?

Hey, we could be kinder and nicer to each other

and understand that we've got some commonality and

things that we can celebrate despite our many differences. I mean, chances of all of us getting

together and having a drink and like a bar fight not breaking out are pretty slim, right? I mean,

let's just kind of be honest about that. But I think that there are some cool things that we

can do to celebrate each other also had the opportunity yesterday evening to

speak to Brandon Hardin who was basically you know kind of the the turf

guru at Mississippi State you know we have got a nationally known turf department and you know we've had

Super Bowls played on Mississippi State grass that's how great the athletic

surfaces are at Mississippi State you'd expect that you know from place like us

you know Mississippi you know we most people know how to keep a yard.
