As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the

Saturday edition of the yard I had originally planned to record yesterday games get pushed back

then I was going to record last night and I'll be honest with you I got home I was a little

worried you know about this weather no we didn't get nearly what they promised us and which is a great thing however you know

some friends just north of us in grenada county out in elliot mississippi are dealing with some pretty

unspeakable things today our thoughts and prayers go out to them it's one of those crazy things too i mean

you know a lot of people say well know, the weatherman's crying wolf.

I would rather them cry wolf and us prepare for devastation and get nothing than for us to be unprepared and get devastation.

And, you know, I think the people that work in meteorology do in many

respects kind of a thankless job but I would rather us always err on the side of

caution and that's one of the things about the decision to go ahead and cancel

the game for today and that's really more about all of you than it is Mississippi State
