As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson.

Recording on Tuesday, this is your Monday show, and things kind of got away from me yesterday.

And it was my mom's 75th birthday.

And so I made the trip back down to South Mississippi and celebrated with her.

Had a chance to see Matt and uncle and family and

spent some time with them and then had to drive back and some really, really bad weather last

night.

And so for all of you that are dealing with that today, my heart goes out to you.

There are a lot of people in central Mississippi that have had some difficulties due to the weather.

It was pretty rough though, man.

Most of the drive was okay, but man, it was windy.

But that pales in comparison to what some other people are having to deal with.

And so if you're one of those folks, no matter your rooting interest in the college athletics arena,

our thoughts and prayers are with you.

But nevertheless, I just wanted to offer a little bit of an explanation.

My hope was to record last night.

But after having to take my time to get back and I was absolutely exhausted, I said you know the show's not going to be any good

I'll wait and do it in the morning. It's a busy day here on the homefront. We got football

practice this morning but there is no media availability of coaches and players today but we will

have pro day on the Mississippi State campus today and so we'll have full coverage of that.
