Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Monday morning edition of the yard. It's actually Sunday afternoon. I guess Sunday pre-evening, maybe. I wanted to get ahead of the game. I had some time today. It's been a good content day over at Gene's page. We already had 10 stories done by around 4 o'clock, so I thought, hey, let me get a head start on the Boneyard.

And as Melanie Moody, a listener to the show and a contributor at times to our top 10 list,

I had a good idea, and she also tagged me in a post over on on Facebook

that reminded me this is the eight year anniversary of a unique date and we'll get to that

in our first segment. So some things I'm going to tell you that maybe you don't know.

But yeah, it's been it's been a hot weekend here in Stargville, Mississippi.

I'm sure it has been where you are too.

Hey, it's summertime.

But hey, you know what?

It's July 20th.

It is July 20th.

And we're about 10 days away from the opening of Mississippi State pre-season football camp.

Next thing you know, we will be in high school football

season and about six weeks we will be breaking down the week one game against

Southern Miss so almost there kids almost but I know these are the dog days of summer, you know, late July, early August, very, very hot.

And I've been without air in the office now for several days, but I've made the most of it.

Try to get my stuff done in the morning and get two other parts of the house where there is some cool air working,

very blessed and fortunate

sometimes having multiple air condition units can be a curse but also a blessing at times like these

but yeah grant we got the grass cut got the AC guys coming Monday morning things are looking up

hope things are looking up for you as well.
