And here on the hump day edition of the yard, man, the day's all running together when you worked every day, which is the case for me.

I love it. I'm not complaining. But yeah, I work every day. I've been working two jobs as of late.

support. It's been a busy day. Been a really, really busy day. You know, we had a huge day on

campus yesterday. We're going to break down the sporting events of yesterday. But today's

some busy doing a little research, trying to track some things down for the new book uh the dude

that we're working on about three chapters in it'll come in somewhere around 22 23 chapters but

yeah trying to get a chapter a week done and um i am now in possession of duty nobles college

transcript yeah that's a pretty cool thing to have and so we'll

add some more detail to some of our chapters but yeah it's a pretty cool thing things are going

well i mean they really are i'm really proud of the work so far eager for you guys to read it

other day i wrote a chapter chapter 3 it's called

becoming the dude when he earned the name duty noble and I explained his story of how the name

dude became duty he wasn't duty noble until he was a student at Mississippi State. This is a couple years

into his time at State. Before that, he was Randolph. Then he had another nickname through football

that got retired. And so, and I'm writing that chapter, it's like I began to think about what

it would mean to all of you and what it means to Mississippi State and for the historical nature of all this stuff. And I got chills, man. I did. The hair on my arms stood up. What little there is. And after I got done, I had to get up and call my wife and just kind of take a break. I mean, this is a very important book for me, but also for all of you. And man, I've really enjoyed every aspect of this.

I'm the kind of person. When I make a commitment to you or to Dana or to anybody like that,

it's something that is very, very, very, very important to me.

My word is important.

And so when I put out, hey, let's write a biography of Duty Noble,
