He got busy this morning calling the high school coaches of some of our more recent signees, trying to help you guys get better acquainted with them.

Also myself, right? I mean mean it's like to get some

insight you know and here's a deal too it's always a good news article right you know i always ask those guys

what they think they do well what can they do better but by and large it's very positive type stuff and

you know these are the players that you're going to be cheering for for the next year or two or whatever.

You know, we used to say four years, but you get those assurances anymore.

You don't have them.

No guarantees anymore with the transfer portal.

But, yeah, enjoy that.

Three pieces of content this morning.

I spoke to the head coaches of Cyrus Reyes, who was one of the later

commitments in Sineas, and of course, Kyle McClendon down there in Gulfport. That's a free piece

of content. And then Ricky Johnson. Spoke to Ricky Johnson yesterday, spoke to his coach today.

That was a really good get for Mississippi State. Really, really good get.

Second most receiving yards in school history. Over 1,200 yards, 16 touchdowns this year.

And, you know, Jeremy, his coach there told me he probably could have replicated that

the season before, but he had some nagging injuries that kind of slowed him down a little bit.

They were careful with him. But big big big recruiting cycle for one chad bumpus right i mean it's just

every day the more we learn the better we feel number one about hiring chad and then retaining chad

and chad is certainly earning his money here at Mississippi State on the recruiting side,

and he'll have some of his own guys now.
